Everyone likes Fish and Chips made the traditional way, right? Well you don’t always have to go out to your local fishery to get your fill. It’s so easy to make this meal at home using hake or snoek, which are relatively cheaper cuts of fish that still have great flavour. Having lived both on the coast and inland in South Africa, I found that Fish & Chips is part of the culture in coastal cities, for obvious reasons. The fish is readily available at a relatively cheap cost. But it’s not all about the convenience, this is a yummy meal that you can enjoy at home throughout the year. It’s ready in about 40 minutes so you can prepare this after your work day or during your lunch hour.
