Rice can be so bland and boring. Whether it’s long grain, short grain or any other type, there’s just something about ordinary rice that says blerh. Because we eat quite a lot of casseroles in my home, rice is generally a staple as well. One of the ways I try to switch it up is to be creative with how I prepare it in order to take the “boring” out of it. This is a recipe for Savoury Rice that many of us know and love. It’s perfect for different occasions and meals including braais, served with seafood or with roast chicken for a nice Summertime meal.
