Parmesan and Thyme Bread

You all probably know by now that I have a thing for homemade bread. For me it’s a labour of love for my family because we all don’t really enjoy the preservative-heavy store-bought stuff. So on some mornings I treat my family to whatever bread recipe I feel like trying out. We usually enjoy the bread for breakfast with bacon and eggs or just with butter and jam, and then later on again as part of our dinner meal. I always try to prepare a dinner that’ll fit with the bread because it doesn’t stay fresh for very long, and we try very hard not to have to throw the bread away. So for example on a cool Autumn or Winter day I’ll make tripe or soup for dinner, which both go very well with homemade bread. Or in Summer I’ll make creamy mussels with a sauce that’s perfect for dipping the bread into. Re-use, re-use, re-use! That’s the message for today. I hope your family will enjoy this recipe as much as mine does.
